Not only do the standing sequences alternate with supine & prone positions, the floor work precedes the appropriate standing work, the appropriate standing work, for maximum pre-exhaust benefit. Changing body positions also adds an additional training effect, similar to the requirements of multi-activity Olympic events, and other competitions such as the Triathlon! After sun salutation, follows a fun ball warm-up (4 Min.). The body of the workout rotates weights (29 Min.), cardio (12 Min.), abs/core/floor work (10 Min.) and yoga/stretch (7 Min.). The diverse soundtrack maintains a fat-burning heart rate throughout.
Equipment: 14"step, balance stick, 2-4 lb medicine ball, plate-loaded barbell (optional), & heavy & light dumbbells.
